Hello! My name is Clare. I have been practicing the art of drawing since I was very young. When I graduated high school, I began working professionally in the art field as an Illustrator, Technical Illustrator, and Visual Information Specialist. I also worked at a Veterinary Clinic, a passion for my artistic subjects, serving as the inspiration for my first art business, Top Hat Graphics. Of course, the focus was on Pet & People Portraits! While running this business, I was approached by "The Barker Chinese Shar-Pei Magazine" to illustrate for them. Later, I was introduced to the world of publishing and fell in love. I shared this knowledge through volunteer work, first creating dance recital programs, and later, volunteering with the local charter school and their first yearbook program. You can find me these days volunteering at the local libraries offering a free art club for all ages (7 - Adult). I love working in acrylics, gouache, colored pencils, and graphite. Additionally, I love to create pieces using the medium of Corel Painter and Adobe Illustrator.
